Not too long ago I complained about how no one listens to the things they say. Turns out not enough people read the Fund (as predicted) and too many people are dumb (also as predicted). I was listening to the radio this morning because I happened to forget my iPod, and I heard some DJ ramble on for several minutes about how there was going to be a guest on soon who has been active in "fighting cancer research" for years. The only reason I didn't immediately change the station was because I thought the guy might be a dick and fighting against cancer research. Nope.
I can't talk about the stupid DJ anymore because I just got very creeped out by CNN. CNN's American Morning is on in the background as I write this and they just finished a short story about showing pandas panda porn to entice the pandas to mate. John Roberts' comments: "I've watched pandas watching porn, and well it doesn't always work." Why is John Roberts watching pandas watch porn? And more importantly, how much panda on panda action has this guy seen that he knows how often panda porn on video leads to a live panda sex show? All I can say is they're damn lucky I've already seen this morning's SportCenter three times. Oh no, they just started talking about pandas again. I wish I was joking.

The Burning Funeral Home
I was driving around town today and saw a firetruck in the parking lot of a funeral home with its lights flashing. Now I couldn't see if the building was actually on fire or not, but I started thinking. If a funeral home catches fire, do they "rescue" the dead bodies? Should we ask firefighters to risk their lives to save some dead guys? And what if the body is going to be cremated? Wouldn't it be more efficient, and cheaper for the family, to leave the body inside? Just a thought.
